been looking for a dual band HT for a less than reasonable price (i can dream, can't I? ).
I don't mind if it is ugly, or if it looks like a tabletop rig strapped to you belt, or if the battery case is completely made of duct tape, all I am looking for is a functional working radio for 2 meter and 70 centimeter. will end up being used as a portable for about 10 percent of it's life, and the rest of the time will be pretending to be a base station. anyone have some nightmare that was soo ugly the they was ashamed to offer it for sale? I am interested!
