This includes ham transceivers, scanners, receivers (am/fm or SW), and any other transceivers such as marine, aviation, CB, GMRS, etc. They can be working or non-working (but must in one peice) and can be boatanchor or modern. This does NOT include part 15 wireless devices such as cell phones, cordless phone, wireless routers etc. because everyone has those. I counted all of mine and I am up to 19 radios. About 5 are ham transceivers, and the other are AM/FM/SW receivers, scanners, and cb radios, and a few other micellaneous radios.

I have thinned the herd down to 5. FT-950, FT-101E and an Icom 7000 for HF.
FT-60 HT and an old Radio Shack HTX-212.

Hmmmmmmmmm I must be about due to buy another one, it has been just over a year since I bought the FT-950 new. I will soon set the Icom 7000 back up to use on 6. 2 & 440 once I get the beam up.

I did not count my 6 old BC receivers, as I don't consider them ham equipment. I counted the ones I can talk on :D

Counting my stereo and clock radio, I own seven radios, but only five are what I would consider to be "ham radio" related. My Icom 718, Icom T7H dual band 2m/70cm HT, my Alinco DJ296 1.25m HT, my Hallicrafters S-19R Sky Buddy, and my old Uniden Bearcat BC278CLT 100 channel
scanner.

But but but..my AM gear is in multiple pieces. Will count the Transmitter and Receiver separate but exclude any other extras and vote. =P

I voted 16-20 based on a quick estimate. Upon actually counting, I realize that I've owned 29 radios over the years and still have 25 of them. I counted only transmitters, receivers, and transceivers, save for two cases. One is a VFO -- the HG-10 for my DX-60. The other is my SB-200 amplifier; not technically a radio, but undeniably "RADIO"! More so (in my mind) than my little solid-state 2-meter amps.

Had I counted all the matching accessories and other ham accoutrement... my oh my!

Here they are in approximate order of purchase. (X = no longer owned)
X DX-60B (long gone)
X R-100A (long gone)
X Motorola VHF Base modded for 2-meters (long gone)
X GE Voice Commander modded for 2-meters (long gone)

This is embarassing..... I have 11 working transceivers, (not counting the one I contracted for this morning), but I did count the one in my fox hunt box.

It's embarassing because I've only been a ham for three years. :-)

QRP is playing it's sirens song..... And of course, I NEED an APRS position unit.

I could be in the next level by the end of summer. :-)

Currently in use, in shack; TS440, TS520, HTX10 (10M only),
In reserve for camping trips; 3 MFJ QRP rigs for 80, 40 and 30M.
On shelf pending restoration; TS700a 2M multimode, Clegg 6 M AM rig.
Mobiles occasionally used; Radioshack HtX 242 2M FM, Motorola CDM 70cM FM (2).
also...
About a dozen rigs, also a few transmitters pending restoration, Johnson 6n2, Heath AT-1...etc.
Adding my two favorite portable receivers, GE superradio 3 (great for AM DX), and, finally A Grundig YB300pe, small portable for AM/FM SW AM general listening.,
I keep telling my XYL I need a new rig for retirement but, somehow, she doesn't get it.

I don't really know. In fact, I have NO IDEA!!! Yes, there are THAT MANY radios. HUNDREDS of them!!! THOUSANDS of them!!!! NO kidding. I estimated around 2000 at one point, and gave up counting. I am up to somewhere around 300-500 here at work alone.

You name it, I GOT IT (EXCEPT for a Hallicrafters SX-88, SX-115 and SR-2000)

It is EASIER to name off the radios I DON'T have than DO have.

but not just lying around everywhere either.

Right now I have about 30 radios. About 20 of them are Motorola commercial radios that have been re-tasked to 2 meter, 6meter, and 440 mhz ham. It is time to start selling the ones that have been put on the shelf as they were replace by better suited or newer radios.

The only radios I am keeping is of course the Flex 5000A, Flex 1500, Elecraft QRP transceiver and mobile Kenwood. My old rigs, a FT847, IC910H, IC756PRO and more are going to be donated to a good cause such as a school type club. Even though they all work well, my Flex 5000A can't be beat.

Probably something around 50 if you count all those different types of radios (seems like a very broad question). Still over 20 if you just limit it to transceivers (over 20 CB's alone from the late 1970's CB era, and some FRS/GMRS and MURS). Also likely around 20 if you just limit it to receivers. 6 if you limit it to "working ham transceivers", which would make a nice poll topic in itself.
