Why are comments disallowed for some video songs on You Tube? The same song is all over YouTube, just different videos.

First Comments are OK
Second Comments are disallowed

Maybe they're vulgar, maybe they could incite racial hatred, maybe they're garbage, who knows... who cares ?

Most of the comments on YouTube are vulgar garbage. So, what's your point ?

For the most part, it is at the option of the poster as to whether to allow comments. Sometimes the poster will close comments if they become too raw--frankly I have never seen so much illiterate and vulgar rubbish as in these comments anyway. A lot of them make local Topix.net boards look like a Sunday school meeting... Also, if enough reports are made to YouTube, management will close and hide them all...

YouTube is often used to display horses (or other 'items') where movement and motion is part of their appeal. Competing sellers or businesses will sometimes post disparaging comments on a clip in hopes of discrediting the group/person posting the video.

An acquaintance did that with her rather well-endowed gaited stallion as a breeding prospect. While an amazing mover, especially at the rack, the lewd comments regarding his 'stallion parts' were unbelievable! And amusing, in a perverted sort of way.

There were quite a few posters who evidently desired to spend some 'quality time' with the ol' boy!

As with everything, make something available to the "booboisé" and they'll either ruin or destroy it. Maybe that should be considered a physical law or something. :|

Use to be Youtube was a nice place to visit then everyone started with the music crap when all you wanted was to watch the video. YouTube is so yesterday. Find another hobby.

epic. well if you are going to post animal related and or breeding videos on youtube, well yea. the internet is known for being a little twisted. although just about everything that is legal (out side of porn) is on youtube. thus the comments are all over.
education wise it's great, but you got to mull through the comments. speaking of horses and their care that has been a subject of recent searches of my girlfriend's mother. it was amusing when she saw the comments.
mind you, this is after "Mr. Hands". she, and you shouldn't as WHAT IS SEEN CAN'T BE UNSEEN, searched that term in google.
the internet is a blessing and a curse, heaven and hell rolled into one big mess.
