I ordered a qsl card organizer, and some qsl card wall hangers over two months ago from Russ at qslshack.com, which also operates under the name Polyvector. I have yet to recieve my product. My check cleared over a month ago, so he has my money, which seems to be all he cares about. I emailed Russ about the problem, and he replied that we would get things worked out, but that was over a month ago, and since he has quit replying to my emails, and won't return my phone calls. I have decided to give him a few more days to get in contact with me, or I will have to get the Better Business Bureau involved.
Has anyone else dealt with Polyvector? If so, did you actually get the stuff you paid for? Was your experiance similar to mine?

I ordered some qsl card sleeves for a three ring binder and they arrived quickly.
I later received an email that i won a monthly drawing / contest but never saw anything after that.
I got what I paid for, but not what the email said i won ..
So over all I am happy with them.

I think you should notify the people before posting here. May just get things straightned out before you do. Just my opinion. I did it and it worked. Thanks! Larry..

I don't understand that reasoning ...

Do you mean after 60 plus days of not having your item in your hand, no longer answering calls and no longer replying to emails - after the check has been cashed for over 30 days - that we should give the person ONE MORE CHANCE ? #Things should never get to that point !
Your liberal way of thinking is what makes these people think that they can get away with it in the first place.
If I place an order with some business, or some individual, I expect the item that I ordered delivered in a timely fashion. #If the item cannot be, then the person selling should keep me informed about the situation and offer a refund if not satisfactory. #I should not have to hunt him down and get the run around. #If I get no response or satisfaction - especially after 60 days ! - I'm going to let people hear about it so that I can help them make an informed decision before they get caught in the same quagmire.
Just a tidbit of information... according to Federal law governing mail order.. (and I'm not updated on the latest so this MIGHT Be out of date.. if so please excuse me)
I think that if a company cannot deliver something you ordered, they are supposed to let you know within 30 days of the order date as to the status of the order AND when things are expected to be delivered.
If Gigaparts did that.. they complied. If they didn't provide an EXPECTED delivery date.. that may be another issue.
Still.. I have found.. in all but the most EGREGIOUS cases.. that just about every reputable supplier I've dealt wtih has been willing to let me know what's what.. ASSUMING I am willing to respond in a manner which indicates that I'm not going to be a hot head.. Of course.. there are those vendors who aren't.. but from what I'm reading here from the other posters.. it appears that Gigaparts is N OT amongst the latter vendors..
just 25.5 cents worth (Inflation)
Might I suggest a bit of 'stand back, take deep series of breaths, and call them on the phone with the attitude of 'OK, we have aproblem.. what can we do to rectify it in a nice manner.?

I also ordered the QSL card holders (now I need to make some contacts to get the QSL cards!http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif and the blank, make it yourself card stock. It did take a while, and Russ e-mailed (and called me) and let me know that the order was delayed but that he would also make it right (extra stuff for free is always a way to get me to come back, even after a mistake was made hihi). Personally, Russ and Polyvector will be getting my business again!

I've waited over 60 days now, and have not recieved my order for QSL card holders. I've sent repeated emails, and left several phone messages, asking for
contact. No response. I note this individual uses these storefronts...
* ArchiveSafe.com
* CellphoneClamp.com
* QSLshack.com
* QslCardHolders.com
* CreditFreezeKit.com
* DineBloomington.com
* HotBranding.com
* Starksen.com
Hope you have better luck than me, should you decide to order something.

I highly suggest anyone not to use this company. I have had the exact same problems as well as a close friend of mine. Matter of fact, just a few days ago PAYPAL favored my friend's claim and he received his money back.
We both have had the same problems. We had ordered the QSL Card Holders as well thinking it was a great price for the 100 or even 200 bundles. They were ordered late June and have never seen them. His phone goes to voicemail and no emails back from any of the places that LDS has mentioned above.
AES has the holders but they are nowhere near the price that ArchiveSafe.com has but at least you know you'll get what you ordered.
LDS--- If you used PAYPAL get with them and start your claim. They will send him an email and ask for the shipping information and give him time to reply to the complaint. After that (at least for us) the next email from PAYPAL stated that within 5 days the money would be credited back, which it was. I would not wait any longer. He has scammed your money like he has scammed ours. GL to you.

Thanks for the suggestion Brad, I just figured I "payed for a lesson...."
I think I'll contact Polyvector's local Better Business Bureau, and let them know about the situation too.
