Gentlemen.
I have today recieved the validation document for my renewed licence.
It is accompanied by a plain typed sheet telling me what should be deleted and what it should be replaced by.
BUT the validation document clearly shows
Amateur Radio Licence B
CEPT equivalent licence class 2
As this is the document I would have to produce to any foriegn host, we have been talking about the USA, I am to them a no code tech, no matter how upmarket they consider our exams.
So, ironically, all we have been discussing on here isnt as it seems, and to the kind gentlemen w5alt, and ae4fa, who have been praising our system, we now have the case where morse testing has finished, class "B" is alive and well, so it isnt possible to get a cept 1 licence in the UK anymore lol.
