despite what rsgb said they did accept downloaded jpg forms for their membership offer

for all those that missed out you could have joined rsgb for a year with full membership and got 12 editions of the rsgb magazine mailed to you anywhere in the world and all for a one of payment of $2

what a bargin

Gentlemen

The magazine is jolly good, but the rsgb is a waste of time.

I wouldnt join if it was free.

A profit making organisation just interested in numbers, not at all interested in the actual hobby.

Just my opinion of course, and probably not a popular one.

Gentlemen, PLEASE , let's remember what happened when a couple of Brits got together last time. The thread was called "lets keep this forum civil " and it turned out to be anything BUT!

I hope we don't see a repeat of that event !

I wouldnt worry, that was a couple of newbies, M1 callsigns, a G3 (very old and respected callsign) certainly isnt going to be baited by a G1 lol

Although my opinion wont count for much with the G3, I believe in absolute civility, and certainly wouldnt get into a slanging match like that one.

M1's aren't that new !! I got one of the first in 1996 but I've been an swl for a lot longer than that

Frank

(btw, I tend towards civility myself - if you can't express yourself without effing and blinding, don't say anything thankyouverymuch)
