I'm searching for a friend of mine for the "World's Largest stud mount SCR or Triac". I'm guessing it would be perhaps the size of a man's fist? He wants it for display so it does not have to work. The largest SCR I have ever seen was in Emerson UPS. The SCR is about 4 inches in dia and 2 inches thick. The rating is about 500 amps. We use to call them hockey pucks. You can find them in Allied Electronics or Contact Emerson Electric. Emerson may have a old burnout one so all you have to do is ask them for one.
