DM 780 Question

I am brand new to digital modes and want to work ISS. Is DM780 suitable for this or should I use a different comm package? Tnx de W4LCL

I use HRD and DM780 but if you want to work packet on the ISS, check out http://users.belgacom.net/hamradio/uiss.htm . I wrote a post on working the ISS too that might help you a bit - http://www.k2dsl.com/2010/09/19/first-iss-contact-via-aprs/ I'm no ISS expert and I don't do it often, but maybe the page I posted helps you out.
