Only a few days later the St. Charles hamfest was happening which I planned to attend. To my luck MFJ was there. I spoke to one of their reps. (Rich). He was very nice and said bring it over and he'd look at it. When I brought it over he immediately said it was the outdated version that the dealer probably had lying around for quite awhile and handed me a new version (219B) in the box no questions asked.
I consider this great service since so many companies usually want to send it in and repair what you have, which means you don't get to play with that new toy you just paid a lot of money for, for quite a few weeks.
2 thumbs up to MFJ. They can bet I'll buy from them again."
