I own a 10 year old IC-761. It stopped receiving so I sent it to Icom for repair. They had it 3 weeks. They completely went through the radio. They even repaired and replaced things that I didn't ask for. The radio came back carefully packed. It worked perfectly. Not only that, the rig now looks brand new. I purchased this radio used and it was a little beat up. It now looks like a brand new radio. All this service and they only charged for the original complaint. Also included with the radio was a complete sprectrum analyzer report on my rig.
