SSTV Usage

Back to my questions.....Now having the interface and using HRD 5.0, I have figured out how to run SSTV, but I never seem to find anyone on the air. Is there a particular way to opperate this mode. I am used to voice (SSB & FM) and CW. I got PSK31 figured out and making good contacts there now if I could just figure this mode out too. Thanks Rob

Just send your cq pics out and see what you get back, no point sat listening for somebody elses signal when they could be doing the same as you.

14.230MHz SSTV International calling frequency (Very active)

14.233MHz SSTV (Also active)

7.175 on 40 but those folks mostly use "Easypal", another image sending and receiving software that uses the sound card.

Unless the boys changed frequencies in the past week it is 7.173 for the digital SSTV.
