I just installed HRD 5 and I cannot get the bearing and distance to show in the add to log window. I have the locator (grid) showing but not the bearing and distance
Anyone know how to do this?

Have you filled in your information (Grid Square, Lat/Long etc)? Bearings are calculated based on; from your grid square to the other.

Yes I do have it filled in ..
For whatever reason it is now working .. I do not know why lol lol

I notice from time to time that there is no bearing info in the "lookup" pane. In almost all cases, upon further investigation that callsign is missing lat/lon location info in their QRZ profile, which is the database I have HRD set to look calls up in.

You are correct. However, those missing the info in QRZ are the exception and not the rule. Since the OP is unable to control this, it's best to provide what he can control.
