The Fayette County Repeater Association and Fayette County ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service) are again pleased to announce a free Technician License Class. Participants attending the free one-day class will be prepared to take the 35 question test required to obtain the entry level Technician Class license.
The class consists of video, Power Point, lecture and live demonstrations of SSB, CW and many digital modes.
We have a success rate of about 70% of our students getting licenced.
No book or other material is required for the class except pencil
and paper.
There will NOT be a testing session after the class.
