No. There is no way you can delete out of the swap area.
Marking the thread closed is the correct procedure

Does that apply to all areas of the Swap section as well?
I'd like to pull some of my Wanted posts due to the swarm of Scammers that have recently seem to have "got my number" every time I post!
I can detect them easy enough, but it's annoying.
Is the Scammer thing common to everybody who posts anywhere in the Swap section? Or just my ads for some reason?

These spamming scammers must be sending you this via E-Mail? Am I correct?
I know that the want adds won't be removed but as for the spammers, do you put your e-mail address in your posts? If so, stop that practice and have your potential customers (for the lack of a better word) contact via PM or spell out parts of your address like arrl dot com. I wish you luck, I'm having the same problem and I don't sell or buy here all the time.
