I have been using Ham radio Deluxe for a few months now and really like it. I have recently set it up remotely so that I could access my radio from another computer in my house. I have to say that I was rather disappointed this evening with the performance. I can only point the finger at Skype as to why I wasn't hearing stations properly. It did work some of the time, but it just went very quiet and I'm wondering if it was because Skype was quite busy. It could possibly be my network participates, and only running at about 3 MB, maybe a little less at times. I be interested to hear other people's experiences using Ham Radio Deluxe remotely

Why would you use Skype, presumably routing the audio out over the internet and back in again, to transfer audio between one computer on your network and another?

Search for a program called IP-Sound. I've used that over a network and it works pretty well.

That sounds a little bit too complicated. I thought that there may be a way of rerouting the audio through the program and into my computer headphones
