Yaesu FT902D Feed back in CW&AM Modes

Have FT902D in AM/CW rx mode get high pitched feedback via speaker other modes okay any ideas about this any suggestions i am greatful.

Could be a microphone wiring short. Probobly doesn't do it in SSB mode because there is no constant carrier present. Typically the short circuit exists at the microphone plug going into the rig and is caused by excessive strain placed on the plug.

Tnx fer reply will check that idea out u have a gud point there come to think of it i did see some smoke coming from the mic plug area.
