The "Original 13 Colonies Special Event" is history for 2010. We got clobbered again this year, and it was fun! To date, with more Colony stations to report in, we have 20,193 logged QSO's.. and counting..The West coast was light again due to prop and noise on 40m and 80m and sometimes a "dead" 20m..But the culprit were the East coast pile-ups too! We will try to tweak this for next year. Our satellite stations were very succesfull, and we thank our "Space Guys" for all they did. Some of our Ops blew their rigs, amplifiers and antennas. But one consolation-No thunder storms! Everyone was cordial, respectful, and patriotic, as it was meant to be..I would personally like to thank all the Colony Ops who gave up their holiday week-end with nice weather, to put this on. I know I am speaking for all the Colony operators, wishing all those who visited us on frequency, a big THANK YOU, for your participation and patience. Hope to work all of you and more west coasters next year. I know you heard this many times on the air, so I will repeat it one more time: "GOD BLESS AMERICA". Only 363 days to go :)
