Anyone that says stuff like that in my opinion hsould be banned. we are human beings and should get along. Obviously we have differing opinions. some people are prone to flaming and outright violence,some are unstable,and as ronny says,the ones to worry about sneak up on you. However,the majority of murder victims know their attacker. people that mention suicide are usually successful,or at least attempt. people thata re outwardly biased and appear ot not give a hoot raise red flaggs to me. i ,unlike ronny, do have an unlisted number, PO BOX, confidential license plates etc.. WHY? . Because i have seen first hand death, murder accidental,intentional ,human outright meaness. I do not like to take chances. just like the cop on the beat that happens across a child with a gun. do you shoot just cuz you think it might real. do you wait to hear the shot thta usually you dont hear at all in case it IS real. do you have a conscious and WAIT and HOPE it IS just a toy. tough questions huh?. well,i dont like taking chances,and people with that mentality,lack of human civility,hinting bad things,and darn right disregard for tolerance raise RED flags. hence,some people that,even though thye have never seen someone die in formt of them,have a problem with letting others decide their fate. if someone threatens me,i do not think back on all the times i got threatened and NOTHING happened. I think that maybe this time it might be real. some people on these boards are a bit more honest about their political opinions. some dont mind making waves. some dont "go wwith the flow". i am one of those. i have taken precautions,and am a bit more protected then the average person. Some others arent. i would have serious doubts about putting my real name and address on one of these boards just so a sociopath can get to them. a sociopath is someone who doesnt care about their actions. a furtherence of any threat,including direct emails,board postings or any overt thing,would be good enough for me to be worried. i plan on me and my family living a long time,and will not let someone else decide my fate,even if all the other hundred threats have never panned out. it only takes one. i understand anger. you folks can probably tell when im fired up,and i am not immune to flaming. but this stuff is all in good fun and in good communication. human nature. someone that defames an entire class of people,then continues on to attack individuals,should not be afforded the opportunity to do so in a civil forum, REPEATEDLY even after warnings. im sure i will be warned one day. ok,i will accept that and probably sya thank you when i cool off,again human nature. it is my belief that if someone wants to remain fairly anonymous,it should be ok. each persons experience level is different. some have been attacked and know what it feels like,.others havent ,which is good. my opinion is that a mature rational person might appologize for getting a bit out there. the ones thta dont are the ones thta worry me, and gentlemen,in my past first hand experience, those are the true dangerous ones. to get back to one of my pet peaves. the fcc slaps hands or does nothing at all,and the problem still continues now doesnt it?,pat dm14
