The old wireless and ship to shore operators
laughed at this new fangled
oscillated CW TONES!
Then the old brass pounder laughed
at the new amplitude of modulated AM VOICES...
Then the old AM'ERS called ssb...
Silly Side Band almost 30 years ago. Then some would just call cq cq cq no kids lids or "K" calls...just W's come back!
Then Fm repeaters sprung up in the 60's... The old fellows complained that no one would get on 3975mhz and talk anymore it was going to ruin ham radio forever and EVERYONE WOULD JUST BE ON FM LOCAL!
Now Ilink comes around and your saying yet again your gonna ruin us... Everyone will just get on the computer.... Blah blah blah...
Well the Internet has already made what we have done for years and years and years...look too easy..
I say let ILINK run its ham course, and who ever lasts wins..
