broke governments

I guess the Russians got so familiar with taking hand-outs that it is all they know how to do. They drove their own government to bankruptcy by demanding more and more that the central government just could provide without huge overhead and administrative costs. That's what is happening here in America. For every $1 we pay in taxes we get back $.50 in benifits and the rest is eaten up in overhead. Sounds like a great deal! Pretty soon we will be begging the Federal Government for our subsidy checks because they took all of our paychecks. Looks like we will be giving a lot more money to Afghanistan also. Wish I had set up a small island off the coast of the US as a seperate country and declared war on the U.S. All I would have to do is take a few bombs on the rocks then surrender and suck up all the reparations. Not a bad deal! How long before the Fed is broke too?
