Blue Screen Of Death AKA BSOD

So i got my control cable today for my IC706. I got HRD and all its sub apps all configured to use it along with the rig blaster. It will blue screen while DM780 is running with HRD and the log book. Sometimes in 1 minute, sometimes i can make a dozen QSOs, but at some point it will crash with a BSOD. If i just run HRD and the logbook, its fine, no crashes at all. It seems the more tuning around i do with DM780 running, the more likely it is to crash.

Anyone else run into this?

HRD 5.0 Beta Build 2434
Windows 7 Enterprise
USB CI-V cable from Valley Enterprises (CT-17 USB)
Icom 706 (first gen)

Edit: It has never crashed before i hooked up the control cable.
