i have the kenwood tm-v71e a woundefull radio capable of many things and one of the best duel band radios available today however i find that i can link it to the wounderfull program ham radio deluxe
is there any plans to allow this radio to be linked like so many of the older radios and the hf radios listed
i feel it such a shame as i would liek to use the program fully but find i carnt as it wont link as not in the list

This problem is not because HRD does not have the ability to talk to the radio, or other radios, but rather because the manufacturer of the radio did not put in a means to control it via software.

Many radios, the TM-V71E being one of them, have a cloning function built in. But there is no means to read the modes and control their functions via software. The cloning function is nothing more than a file copy routine.

HRD and other rig control software cannot control a rig that has no commands in it's software to manipulate it's functions.
