Death Threats are one thing, but bootlegging 10 meters is another. Lots of people make idle threats everyday, think about harming someone or stealing/damaging property and never act on it. The person who made the threat is nothing more than a faceless voice with name like 'gearshifter' or 'cowboy' anyway who just wanted the frequency all to himself. Just because he was talking like a CB radio operator doesent make him a trucker, it also doesent make him a CB op, he could have very well been a piss poor ham op who had no elmering of any kind and has no clue as to what he is doing. maybe you are reading too much into this threat. I have a CB radio in my car that I use when travelling, I hear this kind of crap all the time. I have been told that if i pull off the road some CB operator was gonna stop and 'kick my ass' and many times i pulled off and gave my mile marker and never saw anyone. most likely mr 'CB trucker' just wanted to get home to his family who he hasnt seen all week and you'll never hear from him again.
