yes the 847 is very nice one of the local operator has it and its nice but a bit large for mobile
i have read a few reviews of the FT100D and the big concern talks about buying a radio that is dated after the "bug" correction. What is that date?, and how can i be assured i get one with a later build date? I have ordered alot from AES Milwaukee with great luck just have not ordered a radio from them.
