Trying to pick TM-D700 or FT-8900

I'm trying to decided which rig to buy and it comes down to two issues:

FT-8900- I've had problems with Yaesu rigs before on PL/DCS decode time. #Can any owners report if the '8900 is slow to decode ie. do you miss the first syllables?

TM-D700- #I've heard this radio has poor audio coupling on crossband repeat. #Can any owners confirm/deny.

Hoping to make my decision by the 31st when the $50 Yaesu coupon expires.

I have the 8900r yaesu. amazing little radio and no problems whatsoever.

I have the TMD-700 and I have had no prmblem with it works like a charm I use it for APRS Its nice to have a built in TNC

[B]I have a 8900r and it is a wonderful radio. There are no problems with this radio thus far and don't forsee any. I was reluctant to buy another Yaesu after my FT-90r but this is an excellent unit. I would recommend this radio to anyone. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
