I will point this out again:
Just how does citing equipment sales & availability curtail unlicensed operation from taking place? Fact is it doesn't... Several truckers? How about a few thousand? They're on the air everywhere, all day, everyday!
The ARRL is too busy praising RH to address his failure to get tough on operators who illegally transmit inside the amateur bands. He ignores it, they ignore it so we all must be hearing things? We have our facts straight & have every reason to fly off the handle.
If you want to speak about credible, just how credible is someone who promises to get tough 10 months into a task yet 4 years into it, has done NOTHING but take the easy way out by targetting licensed hams on 2M, 20M, 75M where he can look up calls in a callbook? After providing 20 months of logs to both the FCC & ARRL, I have given up wasting my time giving detailed information to those who beg but do not act. Namely the ARRL & Riley Hollywood, Selective Enfarcement. Sorry but I have lost patience waiting for something to happen when it won't. It's too hard when compared to shooting licensed hams in a barrel. Thus I posted his empty promises in his very own words from 1999.
BTW: "Members Only" access? If they were so proud of their record, it would be available for ALL TO SEE. That is why I have dropped my membership after almost 20 years & several ARRL positions, that exclusive clique' mentality!
