i enjoy a bit of horsetrading now and then. i hit a lot of the swapmeets. i have yet to do any of this internet stuff,because i cant see or play with what im gonna get. major importance offfcourse hi.
if i was gonna do some internet stuff i would probably want to do a few things
ebay has some safeguards built in. especially the feedback portion. nice ot be able to go to feedback and see if there have been any problems. but then again,us being humans,all it takes is one person to mess up a dudes good history. [hum kinda like the fcc complaint thing hi] one of the problems i see here is that a lot of guys will flame a buyer/seller, and we never hear form the other party. humans ,having the propensity to be idiots,will invariably expect too much.[me included] a radio is a 9.5 to one,and a 4 to another due to a scratch on the bottom case,and price should be adjusted accordingly[2 bucks],if not the seller is a cheat. i guess we have to use common sense and quite trusting people. OR,we can ask for some extra information. make sure we have a GOOD HOME phone for the seller/buyer. i mean i want to hear KIDS playing in the background and dinner being put on the table. no cell phones,"work" numbers etc. what would possess someone to send somebody a check ,based on email exchanges? email adds are like you know what,everyone has one or 50. i want to see a DIGITAL pic of the item,from all sides. heck,send me a holographic video hihi. i want to hear it on the air,and vdeo it while your at it!and in the video in want to hear MY voice on the other end,cuz you never know. i want a signed notarized CONTRACT. ..ok ,maybe im overdoing it. selected hamfest exchanges:
