Although it has never happened to me, or been caused by me, I am sure that there is some trepidation for cross-border sellers and buyers alike, due to the potential risk of scams. It is perceived as being very difficult to "go after" someone in a foreign country, even Canada, through legal channels to recover funds or equipment involved in a bad transaction. I do not believe the Postal authorities on either side of the border will pursue cases of fraud, etc. for citizens of another country, but I may be way off-base here...? In any case, I have dealt a number of times with Canadian buyers AND sellers, without so much as a hint of trouble.
