K9STH

One of the "worst" call signs that I ever heard on CW belonged to the late Dorothy Blystone, K9EEE (and she got it directly from the FCC back around 1961 - reissued call). Everyone seemed to be looking for more than just three "dits"! Fortunately for her, she operated primarily 2 meter AM and a little 6 meter AM so didn't have to "put up with" everyone trying to get her call on CW.
For ease in sending, my "STH" is one of the easiest to send on CW (just right - left- right on the keyer). For Field Day operations back when I was in high school (and everyone was using bugs, not keyers), local clubs always wanted to use my call. "K" (being left - right - left) is easier to send than "W" (right - left - left), everyone had a "9", and the "STH" was much easier on the bug than most of the other club members' calls.
