I am currently pursuing CW endorsement to my license and am having a tough time with a straight key, then I remembered my new rig (FT-897) has a built in keyer and can be used for code practise.
So, just for a lark I decided to build me one of these after digging around in my junkbox for a bit. #Total project time was less than an hour. This new keyer works like a hot dang and somehow feels quite natural to me. I thought I'd share this project just for grins.
