Does anyone know if these really works? I have a Yaesu FT-450AT and I want to put up a G5RV Antenna but I have read the tuners inside these 450's will not tune a G5RV. So I was told to buy a MFJ-914 TUNER EXTENDER to use with my internal antenna tuner. What can anyone tell me about this product??

FWIW,the the two low reviews seem IMO related to particular antenna/feedline combination at those stations. It won't fix everything.
