Remember the old Peter Sellers movie "The Mouse That Roared". The country that he was the ambassador to the United States from declared war on the US trying to get defeated and thus gain aid. However, due to the accidental loss of a hydrogen bomb that they recovered, the US would not go to war, basically surrendering! Thus, they didn't get any aid! By the way, to supplement his "pay" as ambassador, Peter Sellers was a dishwasher at a Washington, DC, restaurant.
