Personally, I find the discussion of politics and foreign policy contrary to amateur radio.
But that's just me.

You may be right, of course you certainly have the right to your opinion, #and the right to express it. Fortunately for all concerned this is not Amateur Radio, it is the Internet, some times that small distinction is over looked in the exuberance of sharing ones private opinions. # #

Agreed. But the context of this site is within amateur radio, and I would think that since the Internet is open better than 10 meters at a solar max, my fellow operators would try to be as nice as they would be on the air.
Then again, that could very well be the problem.

First off, I'll buy the beer and why use those pesky bottles when a pitcher of ale would be fine.
Now that we are a bit more relaxed:
I read just a few of the posts of the topic about blowing up Iraq, and thought about presenting some rational thoughts supporting both sides of the argument.
but I doubt if any one would even consider mundane facts.
After all America is about Hitleristic conformity instead of free thinking. Or is it the demonization of either view?
Who's got the next round?

You're right. Between the fascist views of our attorney general and the "if you're not with us, you're a terrorist" mentality...
No more for me, I'm drivin'.
