James Goedhart (my uncle and reason to get a license) passed in late December of 2002. He will be severly missed by family and friends alike.

I happened across Jim's signal not to long after passing my upgrade to General. He was anxious to talk to someone from Minnesota, a state which he had been a former resident. He was pleasant to talk with and was always excited about Ham Radio. He encouraged me to take the extra exams available on-line until I made the upgrade a couple months later. I was unaware of his passing until reading the information on eham sometime ago. I too, am sure he will be missed by all who knew him. My heart goes out to his family.
