I broke the shaft on the select control...the one in the lower left corner of the front panel of an '857, and was 100% pleased with dealing with them. In this day of out-sourcing telephone support, it was such a pleasure to talk with someone who could really help me. It was a simple, pleasurable experience to order the part and a service maual CD.
And it was also nice to get this part without hearing, "You're not qualified to do that work." The seem to really know how to support hams.
