This is a large key. The base is about 7-3/4 x 2-3/4 inches. The bottom of the knob sits almost 2 inches above the table.

I find it best used in the British or European style (arm raised off the table).* This probably is not the key for you if you prefer the American style (arm resting on the table).

Well made and well designed. It is very smooth and the adjustments screws have a very fine thread. This key is easy to adjust very precisely, an extremely fine contact gap is easy to get, and the adjustments stay locked.

The only downside I can think of is that if you prefer a very large contact gap, the clacking noise of this key is pretty loud, and could annoy the XYL and scare the cats.
