Are you looking for a new picture QSL card? If so, I have found a company that provides personal and professional QSL card printing as an extremely reasonable and at a fair price. There are various online QSL card printers around, but I chose PhotoQSL as their web site was easy to navigate and even easier to use in the creation of my new QSL. PhotoQSL can be found @ http://www.photoqsls.com. The steps for creating your own picture QSL have been outlined in an easy to understand format that a Cave Man could use! Online ordering is extremely easy for those who get lost in online catalogs.
Lee Barrett (K7NM), the owner of PhotoQSL will work directly with you on the creation of your new QSL. I found that he is highly concerned with the quality of the work he produces and customer satisfaction.
You can see a video of AccuColor's facility and capability where your cards will be printed (which is Lee’s XYL's Print shop): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWNihMFLBc0. Lee and his XYL have some of the newest printing equipment currently available to handle your QSL and other printing needs.
Lee does ask that all photos should be at least 2Megapixel resolution (1600×1200). If it is a scanned picture, the resolution should be ideally 300dpi or more for a 3.5inch (mm) x 5.5inch (mm) picture for best results. You can purchase full color photo QSL cards at single color pricing – postage paid. And, they print the back of the card also in black and white (color optional but yes it will cost a bit more).
I ordered 500 new picture QSL’s along with a proof to see what I was getting into. Lee contacted me directly and indicated that my QSL would look better if the image was cropped and a yellow ink was used for the lettering. The proof he send over a few hours later confirmed he was on top of my project. In about a week, I had my new QSL’s. They arrived boxed and wrapped in bubble wrap.
Even after I received my QSL cards I had sent Lee an e-mail asking for a JPEG image of the card that I could put on QRZ.COM and eQSL.CC. Within the hour, I had not only a JPEG but also a GIF and a new PDF of my card. I could not have asked for better service.
