My name is Rick, N2NWB, and Carl Almquist WB2WDF was my uncle.
I was wondering if anyone locally or across the globe
recalls him, has any of his qsl cards or equipment, and
or stories to share with his nephew. Carl was an "OM"
in radio when I was too young to remember. He got me
started in radio and told me he used to speak with Marconi. He was one of the first naval code ops aboard
a ship and I think he has stated to me it was pre 1920.I am looking for more details of his many awards/accolades. Please contact me Divemaster43@hotmail.com with any information. 73
