Could anyone recommend a good weather station? There are so many different manufactures I am not sure which one to go with? La Crosse, Davis, Oregon Scientific and Honeywell. I have heard that some interfere with HF Comms. and a lot of mixed reviews. Could anyone offer some advise or opinions on which company or model to go with?
Thanks,

I have one of the LaCrosse kits. Does everything I want - except it's a little sensitive to RF. The Rain Sensor uses a Hall Effect device to measure the rain. When I transmit on 2 meters, I get about 85" of rain! I'll be moving the sensor to a new location and I'll shield the Hall Effect device. Hopefully this will eliminate the problem.

I have used Davis for almost 20 years. First one was Weather Monitor II which is still operating except the anemometer quit about 6 years ago so I got a Vantage Pro that has been uploading data to two weather pages (APRS Find-u) and Weather underground for many years. They now have the Vantage Pro II which is an upgrade. Davis has always worked good for me and their tech. support is great.
