iLink works great. Installed it on my old laptop the other day. My first contact was via the internet and then out on a repeater system in southern California. The "menu" of contacts available indicates wether they are internet or "L" linked via radio, usually a repeater system. My first experience was when I lived in S. Ca. I was mobile and throw my call out on a repeater and a mobile from Australia responded. What a suprise that was! Computers and radios are incorporated more and more each day. It's hams making better use of what's already laying around the hamshack. To communicate is to gain knowledge.
