View Full Version : Antenna Switches--What's good?
I use three different wire antennas and am constructing a 20m mini yagi this summer. I need a decent antenna switcher that can handle 600-800 watts, three or four outlets would be nice. Any suggestions?

Here is a link to a source, as far as what is best....that just depends on what you are looking for and it's a matter of opinion. I have had good luck with MFJ and Ameritron. I know others that would swear by other brands.

I purchased a couple from the Diamond range, based on a review of various makes published in RSGB's RadCom magazine. They were expensive, but I 've been pleased with them. I think they only go up to a 3-way though.

For what it's worth they also seem to get good comments on eHam:

I've had four of the Alpha Delta switches in use here in the shack over 10 years, no problems whatsoever at full legal limit.
They have 4 position switches.

If you are talking Coax switches, I like the LDG DTS-6 switch - it's electronic with a nice pushbutton interface for about the same price as a 4-slot AD switch. I have two of them.

I only have 3 with N connectors :):):) my mfj switch was okay, and the diawa switch is good SO 239 connector. the alpha deltas had the lowest loss in line.
