Jesse Thornton gives you some pseudoscience to think about on his site which can be found here:

In particular, he gives you the pseudoscientific method...enjoy!
The Pseudoscientific Method
Begin with a wishful, idealized, intuitive belief
Develop an unfalsifiable claim based on said belief
Look for people and publications that already agree with you
Try to find as many emotional personal anecdotes as you can to support your idea
Look to pre-scientific sources for 'ancient wisdom' that agrees with your claim
Trust your heart
Accuse anyone asking for empirical evidence of being 'close minded'; try to protect your ideas from this sort of pessimism
Find ways to demonstrate how seemingly contradictory evidence actually supports your claim, invoking conspiracy theories or metaphysical forces whenever necessary
Stay resolute in your conviction that you, and those who agree with you, have insights that penetrate deeper than the crude physical reality studied by scientists
Keep your wishful, idealized, untested belief until you die

Whoever claims something a matter of science should, if their claims are to be credible, not only state their assumptions and conclusions, but also conditions under which they will agree they are wrong.

Interesting comment.
Einstein said something like " no number of experiments can prove me right, but it only takes one experiment to prove me wrong". I don't have the exact quote.
He was a smart guy, in case you didn't know.

I always had this feeling (proof) that if somehow the Sun were to instantly cease to exist, it's gravitational influence would cease immediately while it’s light would still be visible.
However, it is proved (strongly believed?) that information cannot travel faster than light.
Therefore, it is impossible for the Sun to instantly cease to exist.

Wrong! Gravity is not instantaneous and is not a thing therefore if the sun instantly ceased to exist, the light from the sun and its gravitational influence would cease at the same time. and it is thought time has a frequency.

I agree. Gravity is a 'force,' which I believe, makes it an 'energy.' As such it propagates the same as other energy forces, slower through mass, and faster in open space. Observe the collapsing field of EMF in a transformer, or with an electro magnet using a sheet of paper and iron filings.
The sun can't cease to burn suddenly. It uses fusion, which helps create new fuel, rather than fission, which destroys old fuel without replacement. Eventually, though, it will end its life, but it will be over a period of millions of years. We know this because we have observed other 'suns' in various stages of such self destruction, though we cannot observe a single sun through its cycle. We can, though, observe a super nova through its cycle, which takes only weeks rather than millions of years.
Science is observation. What we can see, is science. What we cannot see is belief.

When you guys get finished with your theories I will tell you what REALLY happens.
Albert told me to keep it a secret, but he is not around to know.

Does it involve the Vogons constructing a bypass?

I love this stuff.
Gravity is not a force, but rather an acceleration. No forces involved unless there is mass within the acceleration field. F = M * A.
I know this, because I just spent the afternoon shoveling snow, but that's another story.

:):) I won;t go there. Politics and Religion.

Yes, gravity is actually a bending or warping of space. The earth and all the other planets revolve around the sun because its enormous mass has warped space around it like a funnel and the planet are trying to fall into it but because of their speed, they (thank God), never fall into it. They constantly rotate around the rim of the funnel without friction which would slow them down and eventually fall into the sun.
BTW, while we're at it, eventually we will all be part of the sun (our atoms) as it gobbles up the inner planets due to swelling of the outer layers of the sun. So, in about 4 billion years, the earth will meet its final fate and melt like a blue marble under a blow torch. All the workings of man - gone. Except those intelligent beings (whomever they may be) that have moved to Mars for sanctuary which will be the new Earth.

We will have a couple other problems before that happens.
The moon will have "drifted" away, and the Earth will be no longer rotating, tidally locked in it's orbit.
Excellent chance also of one of those "Potentially Hazardous Asteroids" giving us a show as well.
I plan on ascending before that happens.

K2WHYeah, except that Mars won't be safe either.
In any case, it is not too likely that there will be humans on the Earth two billion years or so from now, so what happens to the Earth will be moot.
Actually, these days it seems not too likely that there will be humans on the Earth a mere thousand years from now.

Good question. Usually 1-5 Kc.
But what lives in the seams?
