Please give an example of progress. what little is done is not even worth mentioning compared to the totality of the events. i see no progress,i see legal ham operators being slipped and warned for opinion type violations[it is the opinion of the enforcer] i see vague rulings,i see a whole bunch of MAJOR crimes going on and only the little itsy bitsy easy ones being made examples of,i see a government agency that has NO direction,no plan, and only communications that benifit their "image".i really dont see any progress. i see an ineffective agency that wont do anything even when major violations are handed ot them on a silver platter,i see threats from riley, big announcements from riley and NOTHING being done except embarassing easy little things that dont effect the outcome of our rat race. nope,i dont see a bit of good form the fcc. embarrassing. riley can try to change that. not hard. make an announcement and a direction and STICK WITH IT. 1999 is a while ago. lets see something really positive. the enforcement being done by them wouldnt rate a newspaper article in a small town.. i see other hams admonishing search and rescue volunteers about not modifying their ham rigs to go out of band,.that is a sorry state of affairs when those declarations have to be made, however valid, and their are criminals out there. and you know what. the volunteers better watch out,cuz the fcc will go after them, darn criminals. lets get going here ,prioritize a bit !,pat dm14
