Reckon how Greggy missed this one:

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – A funeral home might be a place for eternal rest, but police say an Arkansas man saw an opportunity to build a methamphetamine lab undisturbed by the living. There was just one problem — the funeral home was across the street from the sheriff's office.

More here if you care (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090109/ap_on_fe_st/odd_meth_lab_funeral_home)

I think it was just a misplaced effort to bring the dear departed back for their loving family.

I can see building it across the street from the Sheriff's Office. Now had he built it across the street from Dunkin' Doughnuts I would put it strait onto America's Dumbest Criminals.

If this wasn't so sad it would be funny.

This guy is an idiot in more way than one.

He has ruined the good name and standing of this funeral home in the community and that's sad.

This make everyone in the business look bad.

Sad Sad Sad

Got to go my clients are calling.

LOLOL The post above me is great I would be holding a handheld dual bander myself LOL.
The "Meth Lab, I thought at first being "UT's", was Methane Gas and a joke LOL, druggies use the most ingenious METHods of producing and selling illegal pharmecuticals.

I wouldn't worry about it. My guess is people are still dying to do business with the place.

This make everyone in the business look bad.

And after all that hard work you have put in to make everyone in the business look like they are off their nut.

This is probably a step up in the food chain for the funeral director. His usual business pratices of fleecing the grieving family for all he can had to put on hold for at least the time he was cooking up the meth. They are skilled in making the sales pitch that you need to spend those big bucks to really reflect how much you loved your departed family member. Donahue years ago did a show about funeral directors in Phoenix area. On the show was a honest funeral director who was a whistleblower of the industry. Some of the trade practices were, using the same flower arraingments for 3 and 4services. Each service was charged the full price of the flowers. Selling the casket twice was a good one. The funeral directors would wait for the family to finish with the service and leave. Once gone, the director would hoist the casket back up and toss the body into the open grave. Then resell the casket to the next guy. Clothes, jewelery and gold teeth never made it to the final resting place with the dearly departed. Worth way to much money to go into the hole. The whistleblower for being honest had his house firebombed and was shot at after this story aired. The AZ. AGs office did a investagation. One of the facts that surfaced was there was 1 funeral home that didn't buy any caskets for almost 2 years. I wonder we he got his caskets from?
