I'm so tired of these excessive celebration calls. I know there's a limit, but not a single call I've seen made this season relating to excessive celebration was warranted. The Eagles just lost 15 yards on kick off due to excessive celebration that (as far as I could tell) wasn't even caught on camera -- just how excessive could it be?

I'm with you 110% - This the play offs. Your going to celebrate for #$% sake. 15 yards only if you moon Fox's camera. And even that could be justified. :D

GPL, I'm with you on this one. I've thoroughly enjoyed the various celebration "rituals" over the years. Even the Ickey Shuffle! :eek: :D


Football = Great fun to play or watch

Soccer = Not necessarily stupid, but I just don't get it

Hockey = Fun to watch -- the pugilism, anyway

Baseball = Great fun to play. A frightful bore to watch (though minor leagues are better than MLB games.)

Basketball = Fun to play. Too fast a game to watch -- requires too high an attention level. ;)

Looks like RUGBY is an exciting sport, and coming to San Diego here in a few weeks is a several day Rugby tournament with teams from all over the world.
They are calling it USA SEVENS, for some reason. Rugby seems to be just about like NFL football without all the protection. No helmets, pads, etc. Just guys dressed like they were playing soccer who really pound it out.
Guess our VK/ZL friends on here should have plenty of experience with this.
Baseball is so HO HUM!!!! Good to listen to on the radio, thats about it. Very little action, and the only bone crunching is when some player tries to slide into home plate. Soccer is the favorite sport of Preteen girls here stateside. Hockey is a real MANLY sport when the guys slam into each other and start beating the #$#@ out of each other!

I've given up on sports in the US, it's all about footie, that's soccer outside of the US, abroad.

Then again, individuals in ANY sport making the sort of money they do is a bit ridiculous.

The Pittsburg Steelers better watch out this weekend!!! San Diego Chargers are coming to town. OH, the Steelers beat them last time they played, but what was the score? ELEVEN TO TEN!!!! Sounds more like a baseball score!

This time, the Steelers aren't getting off so easy. They have to face the little rascal Darren Sproles, who, like a mouse, is swift and hard to find. At 5 ft 6, he is so small he can weave in and around those 350 lb players trying to find and catch him. He sure gave INDY some tears last Saturday night. 328 yards!!!!

So, while the Steelers are looking for Sproles, Phillip Rivers will have the time to toss the ball way down the field to his great recievers Gates, Chambers, and Jackson, plus a few more in for fun.

LT is going to be out, as his groin is wasted, but with Sproles and newcomer
Bennett, there will be plenty of ground action in the snow and cold.

Vegas line has the Steelers winning by 6 points. Wish I had the money to put down on this game. Bolts are going to make alot of people rich betting on them this week!

I love AA/AAA Baseball, and I haven't spent a nickel on MLB in almost 20 years. I refuse. I like the NFL when the Packers are winning, and I have been enjoying English Premier League Football for the last few years. Go Chelsea!

MLB has lost anything it ever had. It's the worst professional sports league...next to the NBA.
