I'm pleased. But then again, I sat through the Blackout game against UGA at Sanford Stadium earlier this year.

Those smaller, meaner and faster players for Utah took it to them for all four quarters. The Tide did not have an answer for that in order to recover and come from behind.

Reminds me of the last two BCS wins WVU has and they were underdogs in each one.

To answer the original question of the thread: NO
Reasons given:
1) CPR is still being administered to the fans
2) Out of the Million Closet Alabama Fans, only FOUR are left
3) They finally figured out why Miami's reply to Sabans move to Alabama was "Do we need to pick up the moving cost"?
4) (Fill in your own answer) :D

Consider this,in only his second season at Ala. Nick Saban, was 12-0. Alabama, went from a post season 29th national ranking to #1. only lost 2"Post season" games this year.
I think Bear Bryant, would be pleased. since this was something even he didn't do.
Consider that Saban, was playing minus a star player that had contact with a agent and was suspended. All in all I think they did a marvelous job. ROLL TIDE. Oh, BTW; I checked all the papers and NONE of them are calling for Nick to resign....
Oh, Chad, please also be sure to Check out the 2009 College football early bird polls. no too bad considering Alabama ,is already ranked number 2 in the nation in the early polls.

Yes, but a team like Bama should never lose to a team from a lowly conference such as the MWC. Which is why I mean The Bear would not be pleased. I heard the same stuff from UGA and OU fans who said their teams should never lose to teams from the any non BCS conference, or the 'weakest BCS conference,' 'The Big Least' (i.e. WVU). ;)
However, I truly think USC is probably the best team not to be in the BCS title game this year. Had they not lost to Oregon St, I think they would have handled Florida or anyone else for that matter. They just flat out made another Big Ten champion look really bad.

Well, no team wants to lose any games. Alabama, had a lot better season than than Nebraska did. Why did Nebraska, get beat by teams they should have beaten.? And considering Nebraska, had a coach that's been there longer than nick Saban has.
BTW: Wasn't USC supposed to have beaten Oregon.??????
Why did get Nebraska, who BTW: was ranked much higher in the pre season polls not do as well as predicted.? These arm chair coaches need to put yourselves in the frame of mind that no team wins them all..

Well, considering the University of Alabama, football team has won the National Championship 12 times and LSU has won it only 3 times. I would say we have a few more balls than LSU does.?

I watched the game until it was obvious that Utah had it sewed up. I'm not a Bama fan but I did expect them to win. Utah just came out an dominated the field with speed and finesse while Bama seemed to plod along and miscue.
Did you see Saban on the sidelines? You didn't have to be much of a lip reader to know what he was saying.

That's a question you should ask any Husker fans that come to QRZ. I am only in Nebraska because the Air Force made me come here and my kids are in elementary school here. I am also a WVU fan as well. Otherwise, if I had my way I would be back on the east coast. Preferably somewhere from the Carolina's on up to Delaware.
But to ask the question concerning Nebraska (although I am not a fan mind you), Bo Pelini will have these guys running really well in the next couple of years and retake control of the Big XII North.
They will however, have to battle it out with Texas & OU for the Big XII title and that's a tall task. It's not as easy as it used to be back in the Big 8 days and having players like Tommy Frazier and coaches like Tom Osborne.

Actually I'm a pretty big fan of the Bama Strawberry Jelly and Grape Jam. Yummy for my tummy! :p
