View Full Version : Viral Voices Lost!

In recent news, online clubs, and forums have all been infected by a new dangerous viral trend. It appears to be harmless at first, but quickly spreads through out and eventually consumes almost all that is around causing them to lose their viral voices!

People used to share their opinions before their voices were lost, or their thoughts when starting a discussion instead of leaving it up to others who post later. But as of lately, they simply copy a news link, paste a bit about it, then leave a clickable link to the real story. Thus causing their voices to be lost on the topic. It is a sad but true fact that we all need to face.

A lot of users are trying to fix this problem by bringing it up, but the problem with that is those who are effected wont read it since it isn't in the format they are used to. Those trying to change it should make a news post similier to this....And if you still haven't figured out this is a fake news post, but real problem, then this paragraph has enlightened you. And for those who just click a link without reading anything...Enjoy the link I left for you.

It's because people don't want to put their own thoughts on the line when the result could be a firestorm of ridicule and insults. (I get that at work everyday so I've built up an immunity. :D)

Also, it's easier to post a news story, comment about it, then ridicule and insult everybody. :)

If it's my one complaint about ham radio, it's the lack of the art of conversation: in many QSOs, after you get beyond RST, weather, rig and the antenna you're using, it's as if the limit of the other op's ability to converse has been reached, abruptly ending the conversation.

Aww what a shame, firestorms can be fun at times, its always good to laugh at yourself once in a while ^.^

I don't have immunity like yourself, because I'm one of the ones that does the handing out out of ridicule on games :P lol....(Work from home, so no one to pick on there.)

We should never be afraid to express our opinion.
This brings about dialogue more often then it does criticism.
This is how we get to know one another.

LOL!!!!!!!

Now that's funny, then again it might take tons of testing and so on like another infamous drug that FDA shot down over half a dozen times.

Funny how half a dozen sounds like more then 6. lol...
