The City of Mobile, Alabama is hosting a 4 month long exhibit of the International Space Station in their new Science Exploreum building.

The exhibit consists of a full scale mockup of the main parts of the ISS along with other aspects of living and working #in space .

The Mobile Amateur Radio Club " W4IAX " will host the radio station that will attempt to talk to the space station and demonstrate All other aspects of the Amateur radio to an expected 80,000 visitors in the 4 month period.

Thanks for the info. I have the ISS sched. for fly-by and I look up every morning or evening it's clear.
Also caught the IMAX show at OMSI in Portland. They have a scale model of the completed station under glass and it's really cool. Does anyone have any information on how to obtain a scale model like this?? The local hobby shops don't and they have no info on how to get one. My daughter (7) and I would like to build this model as the next coulple of years go by and follow the construction schedule as each STS goes up.

I hope you get more responces.

I also try to catch it when it goes over. I like to have the HT on and listen to the packet. Sometimes you even hear the crew doing QSO's.
