This has been a long time comming. I lost my good friend Al back in '94 but had no way to publically say thanks. Back in 1990 I was looking for my first HF rig so that I could get on the 10 meter ham band. We had a swapmeet during the summer and the only person that answered my request was Alton. He promptly delivered the rig the next day; it was a Yaesu FT-200. Better yet, he didn't want me to give him any money for it! He just wanted me go to hamfests with him. At any rate, we spent 5 years as good friends going to hamfests together and I learned a lot from him. Thanks Al for being such a good friend and all-around-OM. I hope you're having a good time in the ultra, ultra, ultra high frequency band.
