Hi everybody,

we set up a PSK-Online Monitoring System on our Portal at HamRadio-Portal (http://www.hamradio-portal.com).

We are monitoring around 14.070 MHz and redirect the "Waterfall" without any loss of time to our page.

You can see your own signal there while transmitting from your home.

This system is also useful if you'd like to check propagation.

You can jump directly to our PSK-Online Monitoring Page located at PSK-Online-Monitoring (http://www.hamradio-portal.com/psk/)

Have fun using our new service.

Very ingenious. Works fine for me ... I'm delighted to see the heavy PSK31 activity in Europe.

Hrmm, two different browsers and all I get is the message at the top:

PSK 21 Monitoring site... PLEASE USE ONLY THE RED CHECKBOX TO WATCH 14.070 Mhz !!

...QRG 14.070 at JO31SQ at the moment donīt take care about the scale on the right side if you would like to find your signal! TRX is defently 14.070 Mhz !

And a blank window below.

The "blank window" is a Java applet... if you are not running java or behind a firewall it will not work. I'm behind a firewall and am getting the "Cannot connect to server" message, but I can see chart axes in the window, once Java loads and the applet starts up.

From what I can tell, you need to open outbound connections on ports 82 and 2222.

look like the authorative DNS server for hamradio-portal.com is not responding here. It's either dead, or perhaps my ISP is black holeing that network

OOOPS. #My BAD.

It must be a firewall problem. #Have tried IE 5.50 SP2 128 bit encryption Microsoft JAVA. #IE 6.0 with SUN JAVA. # JAVA is working just fine. #I have tried three different computers. #Proxy settings at work allow me access to two different firewalls. #Each firewall is on a different T1. #Each T1 is from a different service provider (redundancy). #One firewall is for general users and does have a number of blocked ports and does have blocked sites. #The other firewall has no blocked sites but does have numerous standard ports open. #In either case I get what KG4RZH sees. #Same results every time for me. #Must be a blocked port on my end.

That is a great idea! #Thank you for taking the time to do that. #Very nicely done. #Peace and Goodwill to you for the new year.

Excellent site which can take some of the uncertainty out of your transmitted signal.

Well done to all involved, how about one in the US for us Europeans to monitor ?

Happy New Year to all

Awesome is how I would put it! Thanks for that lovely system. I am behind a firewall too and had no problems accessing the site.

Seeing the band teeming with activity in Europe, I am left wondering out here in OJ1 1VH as to why I dont see a thing on my waterfall! ;-) Probably the equatorial QRN that wipes out all the desirable signals! Will look for you good folks. Happy New Year to all.

This is really cool. Looking forward to seeing if I can see
my signal. Where exactly is this receive station?

I am behind a firewall and things work just fine. For the guys that are having problems you might try to change the security settings in your browser. For IE you would go ..tools,internet options, security, and then custom level. Then change it to medium-low or low. If that doesn't work try to enable all the settings in microsoft VM settings under the advance tab in internet options.

Hope this helps...

We are using a Kenwood TS450SAT and our Portable Magnetic-Loop INDOOR for this service

Thanks guys this will be extremely useful. I even found my own signal on there. Great for checking how clean a transmission you are putting out.

Nice work.

Looks like they have not considered users sitting behind one or more firewalls.

Sorry, cannot access it :-{ but sounds like a good idea.

Looks like your system admin has not opened the required ports for you. Myself is sitting behind a firewall and I can access the page perfectly. It's a problem of how to configure your firewall properly and not what we should have considered http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif I just went there pertty neat, did not stay long enough, but I did put it in my Favorites, oh yeah I am using a 56K ( act speed 26000 Phone co. poor switch, misc. ) Firewall program, Win 95, and adjusted my Viewing options, see it fine, also some Gov't Web pages I set to Min. if you have Family Freindly controls it may block for some reason, I am running IE 5.5 with the limits . still pertty neat site Keep Up the good work.
